Victoria Vargas was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and notes Chicago as her hometown of 27 years. Miss Vargas has over 40 years experience as a professional dancer.
She is a former faculty member at The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and has served as a guest teacher at many national and international ballet schools, as well as being a founding member of the Luna Negra Dance Theater”. Her incessant involvement with many Chicago neighborhoods led Ms. Vargas to develop a community outreach ballet program.
In the words of Ms. Vargas, “teaching is (her) greatest personal reward”. She has had the privilege of teaching both established companies and aspiring young dancers internationally, with her expansive travel repertoire including St. Petersburg, Holland, Spain, Panama, Mexico, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Portugal, Germany, Brazil and Italy
Is a teacher of master classes at universities, seminars & respected schools in the United States. Joy passes on the legacy of ballet knowledge from the highest level of professional experience.
She was awarded full scholarship as a teenager to the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet.
Joy later became a member of American Ballet Theatre based in New York City.
She had the thrill of performing on stage many times with Mikhail Baryshnikov & Natalia Makarova. After Joy’s time at ABT she began teaching, passing along the profound knowledge gained from instructors & dancers of world-class renown.
Joy is a tough coach who insists upon precision, passion, musicality & respect for the high art of ballet.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lucas started dancing at the age of 16. Three short years later, he joined Ballet Argentino as a soloist and later as a Principal Dancer under the Direction of Julio Bocca. Principal Dancer at The Joffrey Ballet Chicago and at Broadway Productions.

Carlos is recognized for his improvisations and compositions, accompanying great masters such as Jose Carlos Martinez, Carmen Paris, Genecia Kindenlan, Carolina Armenta, Natalia Tapia, Carlos Luis Medina, Juan Polo and Victoria Vargas.
Carlos has worked in various dance and music conservatories. In the year 2015 he premiered his work "Medieval Dance" with the choreography " Metamorphosis" by Margarita López in the final show samples at the Gran Teatro de Falla.
